We offer our condolences to all the Beck family during this time of your loss. I will remember Muril as a friend so dear that he is considered family in our house, and it has been that way since I first recall him when I was age 4. I still remember him with a cigar and coveralls. This will always be one of my most fond memories. If we all manage our lifes to be as good a person as Muril was, we will have succeeded in life.

Our department's sympathies are with Muril's family. A loved one's memory is always to be treasured and remembered in our words and actions as we live day to day. I enjoyed the interactions and mentoring given to me by Muril as a member of the Macon County Fire Protection Association and as a new fire chief.
